Albert Irvin: The Complete Prints Exhibition

Albert Irvin is a prolific British artist, best known for his exuberant paintings, watercolours, screenprints and gouaches. Born in London, where he continues to live and work, his art tends to focus on capturing and exploring the experience of being in the world.
Known for his bold brush strokes and vibrant palette, Albert Irvin’s subject is the human condition and the world in which he lives. This exhibition features works from 1975 up to 2010, and now in his 91st year Albert’s work continues to reflect his life’s journey.
An elected member of the Royal Academy and an Honorary Member of the Royal West of England Academy, Albert Irvin’s work is held in many prestigious collections including the British Council and the Tate Gallery, London.
