Have an idea for an event?
We want to hear from you!

Anyone can host an Antiuniversity event. You don’t have to be an expert and we don’t ask for any proof of education or formal experience.

Your event can take any form: a talk, a round table discussion, a gallery tour, a public space interruption, a screening, a group reading, a practical workshop, a walking tour… and cover any subject.

Need some inspiration? Check our Antiuni 2015 events archive.

Don’t have a venue? How about your local library? the pub down the road? your living room? or someone else’s? Or maybe use a space at one of our partner organisations?

Visit the registration page for more advice and information or email us with any question on antiuniversitynow@gmail.com.

Everyone’s a teacher, everyone’s a student, everyone’s welcome!

ANTIUNIVERSITY NOW is a collaborative experiment to revisit and reimagine the Antiuniversity of 1968 in a programme of events inspired by the spirit, people and activities of the Antiuniversity of East London.
The ANTIUNIVERSITY NOW programme challenges academic and class hierarchy through an open invitation to teach and learn any subject, in any form, anywhere.

The programme will go live on Sunday 1 May 2016.

The first ANTIUNIVERSITY NOW festival took place in November 2015 in a wide range of venues across the country.
The festival featured over 60 events organised by 90 hosts and attended by over 1100 people.
