Need support for your project? New Commissioning Round Announced
We commission and support work which delivers greater access to the arts using digital. We are interested in projects which capture great live performances, extend existing arts experiences using technology or are built with digital at the heart.
If you’re an arts organisation looking for funding and support, our new commissioning round might be of interest to you. We’re looking for a range of projects that can bring great artistic and cultural experiences to wide audiences. The full guidelines and brief regarding the new commissioning round is available here –
you can apply online from Monday 14 June. The round is open to UK based arts/cultural organisations and artists, and the deadline for applications is Monday 25 July midday BST
This new commissioning round aims to build upon recent work in delivering greater access to the arts and we’re seeking applications that reach out to all, including those that are new to the arts.
We are looking for proposals that use digital technology and platforms to:
- Reach diverse audiences
- Remove barriers to participation in arts activities
- Build new partnerships and invite new perspectives
To be eligible to apply you must be a UK-based arts/cultural organisation or artist aged 18 or over. Organisations can include museums and libraries if the proposal is primarily arts focused. We encourage individual artists to partner with a UK-based arts or cultural organisation.
We are looking to commission projects that can be published to an online audience between December 2016 and March 2018. In some circumstances we may be able to commission projects with an earlier live date.
