Deadline Friday 29 July 2016
About Feral Studio
Feral Studio is a Community Interest Company based in South West UK that initiates creative collaborations and partnerships in rural communities.
We align artists, designers and other creative practitioners with land stakeholders, educational establishments, rural agencies, small businesses and wider community members to produce innovative strategies that tackle challenges, build capacity and push boundaries.
Established in 2014 we work locally, regionally, online and beyond to commission short-term initiatives and long-term engagements that support sustainable, self-sufficient and locally distinctive economies and cultures.
We are looking for an intern to work with us on the research aspects of an exciting new project we are developing. The schedule is flexible and the research can be carried out from home. We anticipate that the research will take half a day a week between the beginning of August and mid-September.
The internship would be ideal for someone looking to get experience of working with a cultural organisation. This is an unpaid opportunity however we are keen to support professional development and will discuss individual interests and experience needs with the selected intern.
We are looking for someone with good administrative and organisational skills, who is proactive and can work independently. An active interest in arts and culture and a knowledge of the South West region would be useful.
Please send a covering letter outlining your interest in this internship and any relevant experience to firstname.lastname@example.org
