DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: MONDAY 19 DECEMBER, 5PM
The Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize was created in 2005 by the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers and the Lynn Foundation to encourage the very best creative representational painting and promote the skill of draughtsmanship. With prize money of £30,000, the Prize is one of the most prestigious awards to artists throughout the UK.
HOW TO ENTER

Artists initially submit up to 4 works through an online entry process. If selected for the Final Judging, artists will be invited to bring their work to the Mall Galleries.
Entry is £15 per work (£8 per work for students).
The judges will be looking for work that demonstrates the very best in creative representational painting and promotes the skill of draughtsmanship. The judges’ decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
- First Prize: £15,000
- Second Prize: £4,000
- Young Artist Award: £4,000 (For an artist who is 25 years of age or under)
- Brian Botting Prize for an outstanding representation of the human figure*: £5,000 (For an artist who is 30 years of age or under)
- Peoples’ Prize: £2,000
*Brian Botting, Master of the Painter-Stainers’ Company from 2003-04, has kindly bequeathed a £5,000 annual prize to be awarded to an artist aged 30 or under for an outstanding representation of the human figure.
Approximately 100 works will be exhibited at the Mall Galleries, London
